Some years ago I would not classify myself as a book hater, but I was not really an avid reader. A book should have been recommended several thousands times before I actually sit, read and enjoy it.

However I managed to nurture the love for books because of my love to learn from others. I found that books can be great source of knowledge and experience (you don’t say….).

My simple approach to reading and picking up the next title to devour:

  1. A book must be recommended by someone. Usually Podcasts like those of Tim Ferriss and Jocko Willink do the job. There are plenty of books covering wide range of topics to choose from.
  2. I start reading, if I don’t enjoy the first 30 pages, I drop the book and move to the next one. There are more books than what you can read in a lifetime, so why bother?
  3. Go back to point 1.

That being said, here is the continuously growing list of books that significantly influenced my life and the way I view the world.
